How to account for the individual and collective influence of Lou Reed, member of the indestructible Velvet Underground before going solo, and whose name is now registered in the pantheon of rock & roll? It is with this difficult bet that the poet, singer and composer Fred Nevché tackled, who made a specialty of initiating reflection on the icons of pop culture like Marilyn Monroe, Kurt Cobain (leader of the group grunge Nirvana) or Jacques Prévert. For this “unreal story of Lou Reed”, which mixes poetry, music and images, Fred Nevché immediately announces the goal of his performance: “Not to try to unravel the mystery of Lou Reed. Let the icon in its place, with its complexities, take the hand that it has been kind enough to extend to us, to go on the path of life, to meet the world and ourselves."To carry out this large-scale project, Fred Nevché has set himself three axes: replace the guitars of Lou Reed's discography by synthetic layers and electronic rhythms (composed by the producer French 79 aka Simon Henner), order to contemporary authors (Blandine Rinkel - also singer in the group Catastrophe, the writer and director Christophe Fiat, the novelists Capucine and Simon Johannin, the playwright Ronan Chéneau) intimate texts shedding light on their relationship to Lou Reed and make heard the voice in interview of the icon as well as his face in video.
