For the first time in the history of the game, a player wins a jackpot of 30 million euros.

An amount won in Ille-et-Vilaine, after 28 consecutive draws without a winner.

A player on Saturday night won a record win of thirty million euros in the Loto, the largest sum ever since the game was launched in 1976, according to the Française des Jeux (FDJ).

The jackpot was won in Ille-et-Vilaine, after 28 consecutive draws without a winner.

The last record dates from September 11 and stood at 26 million euros.

"In the history of Loto, this is the seventh time that the jackpot has exceeded the symbolic bar of 20 million euros", according to a press release from the FDJ.
