The Deputy Prime Minister noted that during the pandemic, about 65 thousand medical volunteers worked in Russia, of which 35 thousand people worked in medical organizations.
“Volunteering today is a huge and powerful driving force that has united people of all ages from all over the country and has proven its ability to withstand any test,” Chernyshenko said.
Earlier it was reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin, as part of his participation in the "We Are Together" award ceremony, on December 5, will announce the winner in the "Volunteer of the Year" nomination.
