The company "Uperfect" announced the launch of a new computing unit that turns smartphones into a laptop with a 15.6-inch touch screen and a resolution of 4K (4K).

The Chinese company explained that the new X Pro LapDock unit works with smartphones that support desktop mode, like many modern Samsung devices.

The new computer unit is being promoted as a complement to Samsung Galaxy phones that can work on external screens thanks to the DeX desktop interface.

In principle, the computer unit can be used with smartphones equipped with the Linux system, such as the PinePhone, through a set of USB-C ports, and Mini-HDMI.

Once the cable is connected, the connected smartphone is used with a 15.6-inch touch screen with a resolution of 4K with coverage of the entire sRGB color gamut, with a brightness of 260 nits.

The built-in stand allows the monitor to be set up at any angle, so it can be used as a second monitor for your laptop.

And when an optional keyboard with a trackpad is connected, the new XPro Lab Dock turns into a laptop, including built-in stereo speakers, and the battery capacity is 10,000 mAh, and its operating time extends up to 8 hours of video playback and from 4 Up to 6 hours when using the Dex desktop interface.

The new XPro Lab Dock, which weighs 1.4 kg, is available at a price of $650.
