"President Biden will be holding a video call with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday, December 7," the White House said in a statement.

As specified, the leaders of the two countries will discuss a number of topics in relations between the United States and Russia, including strategic stability, cyber security and regional issues.

In addition, during the talks, Biden "will emphasize the US's concern about Russia's military activities on the border with Ukraine and reaffirm support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine."
