04 December 2021 Two successes in just 24 hours for Sofia Goggia in Canada, at Lake Louise: the blue also won in the second descent with a time of 1'48 "42, behind her - like yesterday - the American Breezy Johnson with 1'49 "16, third the Swiss Corinne Suter with 1'49" 40. All in a race with cloudy skies and sleet with conditions completely different from those of yesterday when the sun was shining.

For Italy a great team performance with Nadia Delago again sixth like Friday in 1'49 "76.

Then Federica Brignone 10a in 1'50 "12. The US champion Mikaela Shiffrin was definitely behind in this descent too, finishing three seconds and 44 hundredths behind.

It is the 13th success for Goggia while for Italy: 103 victories in the history of female alpine skiing.

The most victorious remain with 16 wins each, Deborah Compagnoni and Federica Brignone, followed with 15 by Isolde Kostner.

Tomorrow a super-G is on stage in Lake Louise, another great opportunity for the blue girls.
