Former People's Power Emergency Response Committee Chairman Kim Jong-in said directly that he had accepted the position of General Election Committee Chairman Yoon Seok-yeol.

General Election Commission Chairman Kim Jong-in met with reporters in front of the Gwanghwamun office on the afternoon of the 4th and said, "I made the announcement because I accepted it."

This is a direct confirmation of the 'decision to accept the position of general election chairman' announced last night by way of Candidate Seok-Yeol Yoon's message.

When asked about his future role as the general election chairperson, he replied, "Is the general election chairperson general and has a special role?"

When asked about the allocation of roles with Kim Byung-jun, the permanent election chairman, he briefly replied, "Where is the role allocation? I just have to do my duty."

He continued, "You'll find out what it's like to be a lieutenant colonel if you run it, but just because it's loud and big doesn't mean it's going to work out."

As usual, he emphasized the principle of 'practical leadership' again and again.

Former Chairman Kim added, "I can't say anything about the people who are there because I've completed a lot of appointments, and I will create a department to do what I have to do," he added.

Regarding the direction of the vision for mid-level expansion such as the Committee for the Underprivileged and the Youth Committee, he responded positively, saying, "I have been talking about it all the time during the days of the non-commissioned chairperson, so we will find out if we wait."

For further organizational discussions such as the 4th Industrial Revolution, ""If you bring up such noisy things during the election, you will be confused and you will not be able to conduct an efficient election campaign," he said.

Regarding former lawmaker Geum Tae-seop, he said, "I will join."

However, about lawyer Kwon Kyung-ae and accountant Kim Kyung-ryul, who are co-authors of 'The Black Book of the Fatherland', he replied, "Initially there was a possibility, but now I can't say definitively."
