04 December 2021Inter leaves no way out for Roma and at the Olimpico they pass with a clear 3-0 against Mourinho's yellow and reds who therefore fail to redeem themselves after the knockout in the midweek round against Bologna.

The Nerazzurri confirmed their excellent form by hitting the fourth consecutive victory which allows them to remain strongly attached to the top positions of the standings.

A bitter return, therefore, for Francesco Totti at the Olimpico, with the former Giallorossi captain present in the stands after two years and warmly welcomed by his audience with the chorus: "A captain, there is only one captain".

The match is released in the 15th minute with Calhanoglu's goal directly from the corner: the Turkish from the corner starts a poisonous trajectory that surprises Zaniolo and Cristante, first, and Rui Patricio, then. Inzaghi's team plays well and has a complete passion for the game, so much so that in the 24th minute the doubling arrives: Calhanoglu catches Dzeko in the area who does not make a mistake with his left foot. The Bosnian does not rejoice out of respect for his former team.

Roma tries to wake up in the 37th minute with Vina, but Dumfries is careful and safe. Just the Dutchman two minutes later drops the trio: Bastoni's cross from the left, Dumfries hits his head and leaves no chance for Rui Patricio.

In the second half the script remains the same: the Nerazzurri are in control, the Giallorossi fail to sting.

Inter loses Correa due to a resentment in the left thigh flexors which will be evaluated in the next few days, in his place Sanchez.

In the final minutes for Roma Zaniolo tries with a big left that ends on the outside of the net but that deludes the Olimpico with the scoreboard of the stadium that for a moment marks 1-3.

In reality this is not the case: Inter wins and does it 3-0, Roma ko.
