According to the government of Cyprus, Pope Francis wants to take 50 migrants back to Italy after his visit to the Mediterranean island.

The Cypriot President Nikos Anastasiadis thanked the head of the church during his visit to Nicosia on Thursday for this “symbolic initiative”, which was “a strong signal for the necessity and the necessary revision of the EU migration policy”.
