This was reported by TASS with reference to the message of the Foreign Ministry.
It is noted that the corresponding agreement was signed by the Secretary of State of San Marino Luca Beccari and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on the sidelines of the meeting of the OSCE Foreign Ministers Council in Stockholm.
"[There was] a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, with whom an agreement was signed on the abolition of visas ..." - said in the message.
In September, Lavrov spoke about the possibility of abolishing visas from San Marino.
He noted that the intergovernmental agreement on the waiver of visa requirements for travel of citizens is "in a high degree of readiness."
