Russian ambassador said there is no progress with the United States on the issue of visas for diplomats

It is noted that earlier the American media reported: Russian and US officials at a meeting in Vienna on November 17 allegedly signed a framework agreement on the issuance of visas to employees of the US Embassy in Moscow

“I am not aware of such messages, I have no breakthroughs - the word is very strong, powerful, - I don’t know about any breakthroughs,” RIA Novosti quotes Antonov's statement.

He added that Russian diplomats are trying to find a solution, but at the moment there are no significant breakthroughs.

Earlier, the United States Ambassador to Moscow, John Sullivan, said that the United States and Russia are seriously working on resolving the issue of issuing American visas to Russians.
