According to reports, from December 1, local time, all public schools in the local area have started to use the new signs.
The sign posted in the toilet also clearly stated, "This toilet is open to users of any gender identity."
CPS official Pratt stated that “all CPS students and staff will fairly use bathroom facilities that match their gender identity,” she added, “this will promote gender equality for all.”
The report pointed out that transgender activists and gender equality activists claimed that separating men’s and women’s toilets would only exacerbate inequality and was not inclusive.
