“Do not worry: the restrictions imposed will not affect the ability to operate flights that are already planned in the current schedule,” the airline’s press service quoted TASS as saying.

They noted that the states to which flights are currently carried out are open for Belavia.

“The new restrictions will not affect their availability, flights will be operated in accordance with the schedule,” they added.

The day before, the state-owned airline Belavia was included in the new package of EU sanctions among 11 legal entities.

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that the government should deal with anti-sanctions without red tape, clearly and in a military manner.
