Rada extended the law on the special status of Donbass for another year

The decision was supported by 317 deputies out of 226 required.

Earlier, a bill to extend the special status of Donbass was submitted to the Rada.

The initiators of the bill are 33 MPs, most of whom are from the Servant of the People presidential faction.

The law "On the Special Procedure for Local Self-Government in Certain Districts of Donetsk and Luhansk Regions" was first adopted in 2014.
