  According to reports, Lukashenko said, "President Putin and I have reached an agreement that a joint exercise should be held on the border between Belarus and Ukraine in the near future."

  Lukashenko said that the exercise is expected to be held "in two phases in the next two months."

  Lukashenko said, "One month after the first phase (held), the second phase will be held. We are currently in the planning period, but the first phase will definitely be held in winter."

  The report pointed out that the Belarusian Ministry of Defense had noticed an increase in military activities in its Western neighbors and Ukraine, which made Belarus uneasy.
