The pandemic has taught many that it is actually possible to replace physical meetings to some extent with various digital solutions.
The A-lab at the National Winter Sports Center in Östersund, with the classic treadmill for ski training, has now received a similar upgrade.
- You can see the skier from five different camera angles, we can record and connect to virtual meeting rooms so that a trainer who is elsewhere can have full contact with the skier on the belt, says Hampus Lindblom who is the training leader at the winter sports center.
