Despite targeted efforts to increase the willingness to vaccinate, there are still several areas in Sweden where the proportion of unvaccinated residents is significantly higher than the national average.

With statistics from FHM, SVT has identified 340 areas that have not reached 70 percent vaccination rate.

In parts of Rinkeby in Stockholm, Rosengård in Malmö and Gårdsten in Gothenburg, not even half of the residents are vaccinated.

Sweden's municipalities and regions (SKR) state that targeted efforts to get vaccinated now require a lot of resources per given dose, but there are no plans to reduce them.
