He also said that the two countries are not yet close to establishing a unified currency, which is a higher level of integration.

  Speaking of establishing a unified currency, he said: "This is a higher level of integration, and we are not close to it. We will decide when we get there."

  Lukashenko said that there is no need to raise questions about the unified currency for the time being.

He pointed out: "Know that the establishment of a unified currency should be done step by step."

  At the beginning of November, Russia and Belarus signed a decree aimed at implementing the integration of the alliance countries. The decree covers 28 industry integration plans.

Lukashenko said at the time that the signing of the decree marked another important step taken by Russia and Belarus on the road of establishing an alliance. The two countries have withstood the test of external pressure, and the Russia-Belarus alliance is becoming stronger.
