The Mediterranean rim and the southern Alps will benefit from fairly generous sunshine even if altitude clouds will scroll while the Mistral and Tramontana will strengthen noticeably at midday, reaching 80 to 90 km / h in peaks.

A few mixed rain and snow showers

Instability will remain in Corsica giving more showers, rarer in the second part of the day but the westerly wind will blow up to 70 to 90 km / h on the exposed capes. From Grand-Est towards Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Occitanie, the sky will remain overcast giving frequent showers, snow beyond 500 m in the morning falling 200 m over the Massif Central , 600 m over the Alps then to the plain at the end of the day.

In the rapid north flow, the clouds will block over the Pyrenees range, it will snow from 900 to 1,000 m in the morning, 300 to 400 m in the afternoon, these snowfalls will occur under a strong wind reaching up to 100 km / h on ridges.
