"The second aircraft of the military transport aviation of the Russian Ministry of Defense, involved in the evacuation of citizens from the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, landed at the Chkalovsky airfield in the Moscow region," the defense department quoted TASS as saying.

The ministry added that those who arrived in Russia are already undergoing border and anti-coronavirus control, as well as customs inspection.

Earlier it was reported that the first plane with evacuees from Afghanistan landed at the Chkalovsky airfield.

On December 1, it became known that three Russian military transport aircraft with 214 citizens on board took off from Kabul.
