Lavrov at the government hour in the Federation Council noted that the Foreign Ministry was forced to publicize his correspondence with the ministers of France and Germany.

He added that the colleagues "were offended, but essentially could not say anything."

“If they have promised us for many years to act on Kiev, so that it is somehow reasoned, but nothing happens, and, on the contrary, Kiev is becoming more and more impudent, I would say, in its aggressiveness towards the Minsk agreements, in relation to the Russian Federation, ”the minister said.

Lavrov also said about Kiev's attempts to "provoke the West to support militant aspirations."

At the same time, the Foreign Minister added that the Russian side "will never break down."

Earlier, Lavrov spoke about the situation with the movement of Ukrainian troops to the contact line in Donbass.

On the evening of November 17, the Russian Foreign Ministry published the correspondence between Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and the Foreign Ministers of France and Germany, Jean-Yves Le Drian and Heiko Maas.

This was done to prevent further speculation about the role of Russia in the internal Ukrainian settlement and its approaches to holding a possible ministerial meeting in the Normandy format.
