It was at 13 o'clock on Tuesday that a bus driver was stabbed in the upper body at a stop in Hisings Backa.

When a passenger tried to intervene, he was also stabbed, albeit more lightly and in the leg.

Later on Tuesday, a boy born in 2004 who was suspected of holding the knife was arrested and arrested.

He is now suspected of attempted murder and aggravated assault.

"Camera in the bus is not enough"

The incident has created great concern among bus drivers - who are also critical of the safety of the buses.

- There is a surveillance camera in the bus but I do not think that is enough.

If someone attacks you, what should you do ?, says Azad Marof, bus driver.

"We have peer supporters"

The bus company Keolis says that they are investigating the incident internally and take it very seriously.

- We take a lot of support from each other and have peer supporters and should it be needed, we can get help from the occupational health service, says Daniel Högberg, depot manager at the company.

What measures have you taken?

- We have ongoing contact with Västtrafik and disturbance management about what measures can be taken.
