According to him, Europe is becoming "hostage to the free decisions and actions" of the United States.
Gavrilov also expressed concern about the deployment of the military infrastructure of the North Atlantic Alliance near the Russian borders.
Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko commented on relations between Russia and NATO.
According to him, the degradation of arms control instruments affects Russia's relations with the alliance.
