Shurooq celebrates the fiftieth anniversary of the union with cultural, entertainment and heritage activities

In celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the UAE’s union, the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) is organizing a diverse program of cultural, heritage and entertainment events in seven of its tourist destinations, from the first to the third of this December, the most prominent of which is organizing a parade of classic cars this weekend. About the launch of the second edition of the Classic Car Festival.

The festive program includes artistic and cultural performances, competitions and workshops for children, on the first and second of this December, in Keshisha Park and Khor Fakkan Beach between 4 and 10 pm. Al-Montazah Gardens between 6 and 8 pm, and in Al Qasba between 8 and 10 pm.

The events also include heritage shows on the second of December, in the Keshisha Park, the destination of Mleiha for eco-tourism and archaeology, and the heart of Sharjah.

As part of its festive program, Shurooq is holding the "Fiftieth Exhibition", which tells the inspiring stories of the founding fathers of the UAE.

On the third of December, Shurooq will organize a parade of classic cars, which will start from the House of Wisdom and head to Al Majaz Waterfront.

The festival includes a series of entertainment and heritage shows, workshops, and creative activities for rare car enthusiasts, families and children, hosted by five Shurooq destinations: “Moon Retreat from Misk”, “Montazah Gardens”, “Kalba Front” and Khorfakkan Beach. and Al Qasba, where the shows will start with the “Classic Moon Inn” on December 24, followed by the “Classic Park Gardens” on January 7, then the “Kalba Waterfront Classic” on January 28, followed by the “Khorfakkan Beach Classic” on February 18, next. The festival will conclude its program with the “Al Qasba Classic” event on the fourth of next March, where all events will take place between 4:00 and 8:00 in the evening.
