More than 4 thousand trucks have accumulated on the border of Belarus with the EU countries

It is noted that the number of trucks waiting to enter the EU in front of Belarusian checkpoints continues to increase.

“Over the past day, only two out of nine European checkpoints on the border with Belarus have fulfilled the agreements on the registration of freight transport,” the department said.

There are 2,450 trucks waiting in the Lithuanian direction, 910 trucks in the queues to leave for Latvia, and 1200 in the Polish direction.

Earlier it was reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko discussed the situation on the Polish-Belarusian border.
