Three people were to be tried in immediate appearance by the criminal court of Meaux (Seine-et-Marne) on Monday.
They were accused of procuring aggravated by the plurality of victims and of attempted human trafficking committed in exchange for remuneration.
The defendants asked for a delay in their defense and the hearing was postponed to early January 2022, reports

The two men and the woman have been detained pending.
The former are suspected of having planned to buy a prostitute for 800 euros.
They would also have encouraged the prostitution of two girls aged 12 and 14 in hotels in Ile-de-France.
A "serious" affair
These two defendants were already known to justice.
The third is a 21-year-old graduate nurse and nursery school leader.
“In my 20-year career, I have only had to deal with this [human trafficking] offense twice.
It's extremely serious, ”commented the president of the tribunal.
According to the prosecution, other victims could be identified in this case.
