.

A couple in their sixties would have taken advantage of their physical and psychological vulnerability.

According to a source familiar with the matter, the couple had offered to help them with small tasks and then steal them forty checks and carry out various operations with their cards.

All of the victims' bank papers had also disappeared from their homes.

Abuse of weakness

It was not until the husband's death that a family member noticed suspicious transactions on bank accounts.

An investigation was then opened and entrusted to the Urban Security of Versailles.

The suspected man is prosecuted for abuse of weakness and his wife for complicity and concealment of abuse of weakness.

The sums embezzled were seized from them.
