A man who tried to smuggle into the United States after a two-and-a-half-hour flight by hiding behind the wheel of an airplane has been arrested by authorities.

A man with signs of exhaustion sat down in front of the plane as if his legs had lost strength.

On the 27th local time, a Guatemalan man in his 20s who was hiding in the landing gear of a plane departing from Miami Airport, Guatemala, USA was arrested.

It appears to have been hidden in the space where the airplane wheels are stored.

The flight time from Guatemala to Miami is about two and a half hours, and at a cruising altitude of 9,300 m for a typical airplane, the ambient temperature drops to minus 50 degrees and oxygen becomes very rare.

They usually lose consciousness due to lack of oxygen or hypothermia.

The man is known to have no major health problems, except for a frostbite on his finger.

However, it looks like they will soon receive an eviction order from the authorities.

According to the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration, since 1947, 129 people have attempted to smuggle into the country by hiding in airplane landing gear.
