The freedom of choice has given a number of private home care companies the opportunity to establish themselves in Strängnäs. But if freedom of choice is replaced by procurement, only one of them will be allowed to continue. The operations manager Yvonne Eriksson at the private home care company Allegio does not believe in that solution. - No analysis has been made of why the costs for the municipality's home care service are constantly rising while we manage with the money we are allocated, she says.
At Allegio in Strängnäs, they are now worried about what will happen if they do not win the procurement.
- We have about 40 employees who risk becoming unemployed and 60 customers who may have to change home care, says Yvonne Eriksson.
In the clip, employee Mair Uglem and operations manager Yvonne Eriksson talk about the concern.
And here Strängnäs municipality's social director responds to the criticism.
