In order to better implement the Population and Family Planning Law and ensure the smooth and effective implementation of the three-child policy and supporting support measures in Guangdong Province as soon as possible, the People’s Government of Guangdong Province initiated the revision of the "Regulations on Population and Family Planning of Guangdong Province", and in September In the middle of the day, the draft amendment was submitted to the Standing Committee of the Guangdong Provincial People's Congress for deliberation.
The draft amendment proposes to adjust the overall thinking of family planning work in Guangdong Province to promote the realization of an appropriate fertility level, actively respond to the aging of the population, and promote the long-term balanced development of the population; at the same time, optimize the fertility policy and service measures, and promote marriage and childbirth of the right age, prenatal and postnatal care , Implement a policy that a couple can have three children.

In terms of strengthening supporting measures for childbirth, the draft amendment proposes supplementary measures to reduce the burden of family fertility, parenting, and education, promotes the establishment of a universal childcare service system, and strengthens the standardized management of childcare institutions.
