A full-term lawmaker in New Zealand rode a bicycle to the hospital to have a baby.

New Zealand Green Party MP Julie Ann Genter recently started at 2 a.m. at home when labor began, and she rode a bicycle to a hospital located 10 minutes away.

Originally, my spouse had planned to take Senator Genter in front of the cargo bike, but it became heavy as I loaded it, so I had to hold the handlebars myself.

Genter, who arrived safely at the hospital, gave birth to a healthy girl about 50 minutes later.

Rep. Genter, a member of the Green Party, gave birth to a son by riding a bicycle to the hospital while serving as Minister of Gender Equality in 2018.

The Green Party actively supports bicycles and safe streets where they can ride bicycles as a means of transportation, and Senator Zenter is known to mainly use bicycles when traveling.

Netizens who saw this responded, "It's the first time I've ever seen such a majestic full-term pregnant woman riding a bicycle on the day of childbirth!", "It's great, but... New Zealand doesn't have 119? It looks dangerous."
