The President of the State orders the release of 870 inmates in correctional and penal facilities on the occasion of the 50th Union Day
His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, ordered the release of 870 inmates of the correctional and penal facilities who were sentenced in various cases, and His Highness guaranteed the payment of the financial fines incurred by them in implementation of those provisions, on the occasion of the 50th Union Day of the State.
This noble gift from His Highness, the President of the State, "may God protect him", comes within the framework of the humanitarian initiatives of the UAE, which are based on the values of forgiveness and tolerance and give them the opportunity to change for the better and start over with positive participation in life in a way that is reflected on their families and society and giving them an opportunity to start a new life and alleviate the suffering of their families.
