Investigative Committee opened a case on the death of a worker in an emergency at an oil well in the Rostov region

“There was a message about the death of a man during routine maintenance at a well in the Morozovsky region,” the message says. 

On the fact of the incident, a criminal case was initiated on the grounds of corpus delicti under Part 2 of Art.

216 of the Criminal Code of Russia (violation of safety rules during construction or other work, resulting in the death of a person by negligence).

Earlier, as a result of an oil explosion due to a disruption in the technological process during the conservation of a well in the Rostov region, a worker died, and two more were injured.
