Encrochat was the first encrypted service that the police managed to get into and which led to many criminals all over the world - including Uppsala residents - being able to be arrested and brought to justice.

This is because the chats were used to plan crimes.

Then came Anom, who was also decrypted, and gave the police further evidence regarding organized crime.

Now, a third telecommunications service, Sky ECC, is expected to provide rings on the water for criminals worldwide thanks to international cooperation.

For Region Mitt's part - which includes the Uppsala Police - between two and three million decrypted messages.

Something that UNT was the first to report on.

In the clip, Jale Poljarevius talks about how Uppsala's criminals reacted to the new decryption.
