Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and on behalf of Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Al Maktoum, wife of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, attended Sheikha Amina bint Humaid Al Tayer, President of the Women’s Renaissance Association Chairperson of the Board of Directors and Secretary-General of the Women's Union, Noura bint Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Celebration of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award at the conclusion of the activities of the fifth edition of the Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak International Holy Quran Competition.
The representative of the UAE, Waad Aref Muhammad Al-Janahi, the representative of the Kingdom of Morocco, Farah Al-Baqali, and the representative of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Nada Muhammad Ahmed Fathi, recited verses from the Book of God. We meet with you tonight in the fifth session of the Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak International Holy Qur’an Competition, this award that was able to establish its place among the Qur’anic awards worldwide.”
She said: "We return to this blessed competition, which bears a name dear to our hearts and the hearts of Arabs and Muslims, namely the Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak International Holy Quran Competition, and this session comes with the participation of 50 countries, which indicates the status that this competition has reached and its spread throughout the Islamic world. And in the areas of Islamic communities.”
Sheikha Amina bint Humaid Al Tayer and Noura bint Khalifa Al Suwaidi honored all the contestants participating in the fifth session of the competition, after which the winners of the first 10 places in the competition were honored. From the United States of America in second place, and third place went to Mona Abdi Fatar Abdi from Kenya, and fourth place went to Sonia Belatel from Algeria, and fifth place went to the contestant Iman Ahmed Muhammad Abu Alaika from Jordan, and the sixth place went to Barira Abdel Rahim Qadi The seventh place went to Saadia Omar Abkar from Cameroon, the eighth place went to Nadi Zainab Nagoum from Senegal, the Nigeria contestant Asiya Ali Ahmed ranked ninth, while the tenth place went to the contestant Al-Zeina Al-Shawaf from Mauritania.
