The Official Charts Company announced that the album "30" - the pop diva's first album in six years - totaled 261,000 sales this week, becoming the best-selling album within the week of its release in 2021.

"30" is therefore the fourth album of the multi-award-winning star to occupy the first place of the British charts.

The previous ones, "25", "21" and "19", have also made a comeback this week in the charts, rising respectively to 15th, 18th and 31st places.

The 33-year-old singer-songwriter also retained first place in the singles chart for the sixth consecutive week with his track "Easy On Me", breaking his personal record set with the song "Someone Like You", which had remained at the top of the rankings for five weeks.

Of the twelve songs that make up "30", two more have emerged this week in the singles charts, "Oh My God" taking second place and "I Drink Wine" fourth.

The album title, "30", is a reference to Adele's age when she started it three years ago, when the life of the "Hello" singer was one of turmoil. , between his divorce and the sudden end to his career.
