November 26, 2021 "In Italy, the municipalities that have had new cases in the last 14 days have gone from 4,973 to 5,370, an indication of widespread circulation throughout the country", underlines the president of ISS, Silvio

"The epidemiological situation in our country still tends to worsen. The incidence rate is around 125 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants. The RT remains stable at 1.23", underlines Giovanni Rezza, Director General of Prevention of the Ministry of Health, commenting the weekly monitoring report on Covid-19 in Italy.



"With regard to the occupancy rate of places in the medical and intensive care areas - he notes - we are respectively 8.1 and 6.2%, therefore below the critical threshold even if we observe - however Rezza warns - a increasing trend. Given the epidemiological situation - is the warning - it is good to continue the vaccination campaign with great intensity and above all as regards the booster doses and at the same time it is essential - he concludes - to maintain prudent behavior: social distancing and use of masks ".
