“With a view to our responsibility for the municipal employees and as representatives of the city of Frankfurt, we decided to close the box without further ado,” said Eileen O'Sullvian, head of the digital department of the Volt party.
She had taken over from sports director Mike Josef (SPD) for this evening to name the guests for the box.
"I very much hope," said the Volt politician, that the pandemic situation will soon make it possible to get together again.
"The first thing to do, however, is to stay healthy and protect those around you."
The box usually has room for 20 people.
However, since the beginning of the pandemic, the number has already been halved for safety reasons.
