November 26, 2021 Walter Schiavone, second son of Francesco Schiavone known as "Sandokan", has decided to collaborate with the justice system. Walter Schiavone intervened during the preliminary hearing via video link from the prison in a protected site, confirming, replying to a question from his lawyer, that he is talking "about something else" to the Naples District Anti-Mafia Directorate. The next hearing in the trial will be held on December 17.
Walter Schiavone was reached on 10 June by a precautionary custody order as part of the investigations of the Neapolitan DDA on a criminal group, at the top of which was Walter Schiavone himself, who managed and controlled the distribution of products with extortion methods dairy in the province of Caserta.
