He noted that this would serve as a good signal for Russian vaccines to be recognized abroad as well.

“Here we are not talking about the use of vaccines on the territory of other states, we are talking about the recognition of the fact of vaccination,” he explained.

The MPs previously proposed issuing QR codes to citizens who were vaccinated with foreign vaccines or had unofficially had coronavirus.

The corresponding proposals were submitted to parliament on November 12.
