The Haitian Prime Minister, Ariel Henry, proceeded this Wednesday, November 25 to a cabinet reshuffle, after weeks of negotiations with opposition parties.

This reshuffle comes as part of the crisis exit agreement that the Prime Minister signed in September with some opposition parties and civil society organizations.
The materialization of this political agreement: the arrival at the head of the Ministry of Planning and External Cooperation of Ricard Pierre, former senator and figure of the opposition to the
late President Jovenel Moïse
.
But this relative openness of the government will not be enough to get Haiti out of the deep crisis in which it finds itself.
The grip of gangs on the capital and several provincial areas is not weakening.
Kidnappings continue to increase and armed gangs demand ever greater amounts of money from the relatives of their victims.
