How do I get it?

Start by vaccinating yourself.

Within seven days, the vaccination is reported to the National Vaccination Register.

Then you can log in with e-identification at covidbevis.se.

If you do not have an e-identification, you can read about how to obtain an e-identification here.

After logging in, it is possible to download, print or save the certificate.

It is also sent automatically to your digital mailbox.

If you do not have one, you can get a digital mailbox here.

It costs?

No, the vaccination certificate is free.

Vaccination is also free.

Is a dose enough?

You can get a vaccination certificate once you have taken a dose of vaccine, but it is not certain that the certificate will then be valid for all activities.

How does it work?

The vaccination certificate has a QR code which, when scanned, confirms that you have been vaccinated against covid-19.

The certificate with the QR code can be obtained both digitally and on paper.

What information is there on it?

The vaccination certificate states name, date of birth, date of issue, nationality, which vaccine and how many doses have been taken and how long the certificate is valid.

Does it matter which vaccine I took?

No.

The vaccination certificate applies to all covid-19 vaccines that have been approved by the EU.

How long is it valid?

If the vaccination certificate has been issued between 1 July - 30 September 2021, it is valid for 90 days.

If the certificate has been issued October 1-December 31, 2021, it is valid for 180 days.

You can download a new vaccination certificate at covidbevis.se at any time

Is it possible to get one without a Swedish social security number?

Right now, it is not possible to get a vaccination certificate for you who do not have a Swedish social security number and have had your vaccination registered on a reserve number.

But the e-health authority has been commissioned by the government to solve it by the turn of the year 2021-2022.

If you have a Swedish social security number but have had your vaccination registered on a reserve number or coordination number, you can contact your vaccinator and ask them to register the vaccination on your social security number instead.

If you have been vaccinated in Sweden, but have a coordination number and do not have a population registration address, this special form must be used.

The certificate is then sent to an agent and you will receive a notification from PostNord when it is possible to pick up the letter.
