The Izvestia newspaper writes about this with reference to the President of the American Chamber of Commerce Alexis Rodzianko.

He noted that at the moment, a visa and vaccination with a WHO-approved vaccine are required to enter the United States.

“Therefore, we asked the US government to take other vaccines for business trips, including Sputnik V,” said Rodzianko.

The Russian Ministry of Health recalled that Moscow had previously proposed to Washington to work out a mechanism for the mutual recognition of vaccination certificates.

Earlier, Russian Ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov said that the American side was delaying the extension of visas or entry permits to the United States for about 100 Russian diplomats.
