US Air Force has worked out the application of a nuclear airstrike

As noted, as part of the US Air Force exercises, F-15E Strike Eagle fighters with unarmed tactical bombs B61-3 and B61-4 were lifted from Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada to carry out bombing.

The Air Force clarified that the purpose of the bombing was "to test the capabilities of the F-15E to deliver tactical nuclear weapons of the B61 series to the target."

Earlier, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that the crews of American bombers are practicing reaching the line of using cruise missiles, such actions pose a threat to Russia and China.

In addition, according to the Russian defense department, in November, during the exercise of the US strategic forces Global Thunder, ten strategic bombers practiced the option of using nuclear weapons against Russia simultaneously from the western and eastern directions.
