China News Agency, Moscow, November 24 (Zhang Meng Tianbing) Russian Deputy Prime Minister Golikova said in a video conference with members of the federal government held by Russian President Putin on the 24th that the Russian Ministry of Health has registered for use between the ages of 12 and 17. The new crown vaccine for year-old adolescents is expected to enter civilian circulation around the end of December.

The TASS news agency quoted Golikova as saying that the "Satellite M" vaccine for teenagers aged 12 to 17 was registered in Russia on November 24.

It is reported that "Satellite M" was developed by the Russian National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology in Gamalea.

The vaccine has been tested in Moscow since the beginning of June, and Moscow’s deputy mayor Rakova said that the test showed that the vaccine is safe.

Golikova pointed out that vaccination of teenagers under the age of 15 requires the consent of their parents or legal guardians, and those over the age of 15 can sign a vaccination consent form by themselves.

In this regard, Putin emphasized that, like adults, vaccination of minors must be voluntary, and asked the government to provide funds for the development of a new crown vaccine for children over two years of age.

Putin announced at the meeting that he had been vaccinated with the nasal spray new crown vaccine developed by the National Research Center of Epidemiology and Microbiology of Gamaliel, without any discomfort, and took part in physical exercise the next day.

Russian Prime Minister Mishustin said that for the current clinical trials of the Russian nasal spray vaccine, only the first phase of clinical trials involving adult volunteers has been approved.

In addition, Putin expressed support for Golikova's proposal to extend the validity period of the certificate for patients recovering from the new crown from 6 months to 12 months.

According to Golikova, since the epidemic, only 0.74% of the people who have recovered from the new crown in Russia have been re-infected.

Russian Health Minister Murashko previously stated that vaccination is still a reliable way to prevent the new crown.

He said that the vast majority of COVID-19 patients in the hospital have not been vaccinated.

At the end of September this year, the World Health Organization also reported the relationship between the new crown mortality rate and the refusal of preventive vaccination.

The latest data from the Russian Epidemic Prevention Headquarters that day showed that in the past 24 hours, there were 33,558 new confirmed cases of new crown in Russia, with a total of 9,434,393 confirmed cases; 1,240 new deaths, with a total of 267,819 deaths; 36,682 new cases of recovery, and a total of 8,126,376 cases of recovery.
