“Parliament will urgently consider amendments to the law on the state budget for 2021 at a meeting on November 25.

The deputies will discuss the amendments tomorrow at the request of Prime Minister Natalya Gavrilitsa in order to prevent the cessation of gas supplies, ”RIA Novosti is quoted as saying.

On November 22, Gazprom notified Moldova that it would stop gas supplies in 48 hours due to the failure of the Moldovan side to fulfill its contractual obligations.

According to the agreements concluded earlier, Moldova must make 100% of the payments on time, but as of November 22, this point was not complied with.

The money was not received by November 24.

Later, Gazprom agreed to give Moldova a deferral for payment, since the Moldovan side promised to pay on November 26.
