Done: Magdalena Andersson will be Sweden's next Prime Minister

The Moderates, Christian Democrats, Sweden Democrats and Liberals voted red, which means that the Social Democrat leader passed the vote with the smallest possible margin.

Negotiations to the last

Speaker Andreas Norlén chose to nominate Magdalena Andersson as Prime Minister on Monday, despite the fact that she did not yet have enough support to form a government.

Negotiations with Nooshi Dadgostar (V) had stalled, and were only resolved on Tuesday night - less than a day before the vote.

But that she believes that S has made a left turn with the agreement with V and that her party will not vote on the government's budget proposal, but its own.

- We judge that the content of the budget is not good enough, she says.
