Sharjah Police stated that the excessive speed led to the deterioration of a vegetable truck driven by a 26-year-old Asian driver while driving on Al Mamzar Corniche Square in the Emirate of Sharjah, noting that the driver did not adhere to the speed limit, which led to the accident and the fall of quantities of vegetables on the road. The Deputy Director of Traffic and Patrols in Sharjah Police, Lt. Col. Omar Bughanim, said that the Operations Room received a report at 1:45 pm yesterday, stating that a truck carrying vegetables had deteriorated in Al Mamzar Corniche Square, and it was found that the truck driver was traveling faster than the speed limit for the road. He assured that the truck's load was sound and in compliance with the standards.

He explained that "the truck overturned accident resulted in vegetables falling on the road, and the driver sustained minor injuries. In coordination with the competent authorities, the remnants of the accident were removed from the road, and traffic was restored to normal again."
