"The Leninsky District Court of Perm, on the basis of the jury's verdict, passed a guilty verdict to a 72-year-old resident of Perm," the statement says.
The pensioner was found guilty under Part 3 of Art.
30, part 1 of Art.
105 of the Criminal Code "Attempted Murder".
According to the investigation, the convict demanded that industrial climbers stop working near his balcony, and then climbed to the roof of the building and cut the cable with a knife.
One of the climbers fell down, but thanks to the actuation of the safety system, he was not injured.
In August 2019, a criminal case was opened in Perm over an attack on industrial climbers.
