A bill to extend the special status of Donbass was submitted to the Rada

The initiators of the bill are 33 MPs, most of whom are from the Servant of the People presidential faction.

The law "On the Special Procedure for Local Self-Government in Certain Districts of Donetsk and Luhansk Regions" was first adopted in 2014.

Earlier, the Kremlin announced its deep concern over the provocations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Donbass.
